Funding and Assistance

The Social Services director, Alexander Cerbone, MSW, LSW, can be found in the Teaneck Municipal Building on the first floor within the Health Department. On Wednesdays, he can be found on the upper level of the Richard Rodda Community Center in the medical outreach offices.

The mission of the Teaneck Department of Health and Human Services is to help assist residents who may be dealing with social, emotional, physical and mental health issues and crises. The Teaneck Department of Health and Human Services can also direct/refer residents to Social Services resources available, depending on their individual circumstance and need.

Teaneck Division of Social Services may also provide financial service through the Public Assistance Trust Fund for those individuals or families who are eligible. To apply for financial assistance for your hardship situation, please go to the Application for Public Assistance.
