Parking Permits
Teaneck offers parking decals that may be utilized in various locations throughout the municipality:
- Resident
- Commuter
- Non-resident Commuter
- Merchant
- Visitors
Parking permits in the Township of Teaneck expire on December 31st of each year at midnight. Permits are non-transferable. If your decal becomes lost please notify for the Clerk’s office for guidance.
Applications for parking permits for the calendar year can be found below or can be obtained by emailing the Clerk’s office. The fee is $50.00 (cash or check) per vehicle for residents & merchants & $100.00 (cash or check) per vehicle for non-residents. (PLEASE NOTE: The Township does not accept debit or credit cards for this transaction).
Please note that applicants should be prepared to present the following documents:
- Valid driver’s license
- Vehicle registration
(NOTE: both registration and driver’s license should have the same address; if not, you will be required to file for a change of address through the New Jersey Department of Motor Vehicles office) \ - Proof of residence in the Township of Teaneck (if applying for a resident decal)
If you are a merchant applying for parking decals for your office & employees please provide:
- Copy of Lease and/or Deed
- Letter on Business’s letterhead notifying the Township Manager of need for additional decals if exceeding 4 decals per business
- Vehicle Registration
- Employee must fill out page 3 of application and provide a copy of their Valid Driver’s License
